Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a convenient location near the waterfront restaurants and offered a great view of the NYE fireworks. The friendly and welcoming staff were a definite highlight. However, the room had some accessibility issues, and the morning coffee was served cold.
The hotel is in a central location close to everything, perfect for walks along the boardwalk with a variety of dining options nearby. The rooms are small and noisy but have a huge bed and nice city views. The service was fair, with some welcoming gestures but lacking friendliness in certain areas. The dining experience was functional, but with some room for improvement in quality. The facilities are decent, offering the basics for a comfortable stay.
The hotel had spacious and nice rooms with a good view of the mountains, exceeding my expectations for the cost. The rooms, however, had loud disco beat type music from 12 Noon to 8.30PM. The hotel seemed slightly basic and shabby, with some carpet stains that I wouldn't expect for the price paid compared to other locations.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's blend of comfort and convenience. The rooms, albeit ordinary, were well-furnished and had all the amenities we needed, making our stay hassle-free. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff always ready to assist. The location was ideal, offering easy access to everything in Cairns city, but there were unexpected issues with insects. The dining experience was a highlight, offering a mix of international cuisine, although there were some minor issues. Overall, a good value for the price paid.
The hotel boasts fantastic wide and unobstructed views, offers very comfortable rooms with clean bathrooms, and is situated in a great location. However, it could use a bit more attention to room facilities. Some rooms were described as musty, and the bathroom was noted to be really small.
The hotel is in a prime location, facing the waterfront with a great place to eat and drink. The room size with a king bed was good, but not being able to open a window made it feel claustrophobic at times due to smoke from other guests' balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful, though limited in their assistance. The superb location near the pier and overlooking an enchanting rainforest area was a big plus, but the crowded balcony and smoking odor were drawbacks. Dining was a mix of international cuisine, but some found it over-priced. The facilities were well-maintained with lots of deck chairs and poolside service.
The hotel provides clean and comfortable rooms in a great location near the main restaurant area and the Esplanade. Despite a slight odour upon entering, the rooms are well-maintained, but there is room for improvement in facilities. The service was impressive, and the dining experience, particularly in the Atrium Restaurant & Bar, was top-notch.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The location was perfect, right on the esplanade, and the Hilton Honors room I stayed in was top-notch. The service was exceptional, especially the friendly tour booking counter in the lobby. Though the dining options were a bit lacking for my taste, overall, the hotel offered a wonderful and relaxing experience.
I experienced a mix of positives and negatives during my stay at this hotel. The rooms were in need of refurbishment and felt dated, especially considering the price paid. However, the service provided, once requested, was excellent. The location was ideal for exploring Cairns easily but fell short of expectations for a Hilton property. The dining experience was exceptional with a few minor areas for improvement. Overall, it was a stay with ups and downs.
The hotel offers a great view of the Esplanade, and despite the room not being made up twice during my stay, it was still a delightful experience with a view and tasty breakfast. The room felt a bit 'tired,' but it didn't hinder our overall enjoyment.
